Snuggle Bugs & Company provides a great selection of HIGH QUALITY, gently used children's items to our shoppers. Our emphasis on quality keeps shoppers coming back season after season and year after year, as their children grow. In order to provide a quality sales event with quality items, all items must be in current style (within the last 5 years). In addition, all items must be--clean and free of stains, tears, fraying, missing buttons, odors, pet hair, and excessive wear, pilling, fading, or shrinkage. We have all bought items that shrunk to the size of a postage stamp when we washed them -- please do not bring these -- they will not sell. Snuggle Bugs & Company reserves the right to refuse any items that do not meet these guidelines. Below you will find a list of items that will not be accepted for this sale.

Items that we CANNOT sell:

• Off-Season Items or items that are not CLEAN and in EXCELLENT condition -- we reserve the right to refuse any item that does not meet our criteria, so please review your items closely.

• Maternity Clothing -- we no longer work with maternity clothing because, although we get hundreds of expectant Moms at each of our events, they seem to be in full out "baby mode" and this section has gone largely unnoticed.

• Perishable Items

• Used: Potty seats, Bath Tubs, Diaper Pails, Underwear, Stuffed Animals, Crib Mattresses, Helmets, Breast Pumps, Bottles, Cups, Teethers, and Nipples (these items can only be accepted if they are NEW and sealed in their original packaging)

• Items that have been recalled by the manufacturer

• Car Seats. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission states that car seats may incur structural wear and tear through normal daily use or from being involved in even a minor car accident, making them unsafe. The Safety Commision points out that many problems that may cause the seat to fail in the event of an accident are NOT apparent upon visual inspection. We all just want to keep our kids safe, so we will not be accepting any car seats. We hope you understand.

Clothing Brands

Brand Name. Schmand Name. We love Wal-Mart!
We have struggled with the topic of Brand Names and strive to find something that will work for most everyone. It is difficult not to sound like Brand Snobs when discussing this but, as you know, garment quality and brand names usually go hand in hand. We love Wal-Mart as much as anyone, but when you can find their items selling brand new for $5-$9 in the store, it is difficult for anyone to make it worth their while selling them the second time around. Because these items are so inexpensive to buy brand new, reselling them, even in gently used condition, does not allow our consignors to reap the benefits of the time they spent preparing their items -- and we want all of our consignors to have a successful event and make $$$! Also, knowing that they will find great Mall store brands at great prices attracts shoppers – and more shoppers means a more successful sale for consignors.

With that said, we have decided not to accept SOME of the brands from Wal-Mart and K-mart. Here is a list of the discount store brands that we can NOT accept:

We accept all boutique quality items (some of these do not have brands), and all department store brands.

What can I sell?

**When possible, items should be fully assembled on the sales floor. You will be responsible for the assembly. Please put all hardware in a bag and attach it securely to the crib/bed. ALL hardware must be included. Assembly instructions are a BIG plus!
